We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Engineering Technician to join our team. As an Engineering Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the engineering team in various technical activities, including testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment and systems. You will collaborate closely with engineers and other team members to ensure efficient and accurate execution of engineering projects.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, development, and testing of engineering prototypes and products.
• Conduct tests and experiments under the guidance of engineers, recording and analyzing data to support engineering decisions.
• Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with equipment, systems, and processes, and propose solutions or improvements.
• Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and tools to ensure accurate and reliable measurements and performance.
• Support engineers in the development and documentation of engineering specifications, drawings, and technical reports.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate and facilitate the implementation of engineering projects.
• Collaborate with customer support teams to troubleshoot and resolve product-related issues reported by customers.
Maintain inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies, ensuring availability for engineering projects.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices relevant to the engineering field.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with specific engineering tools, equipment, or software relevant to the industry or specialization.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and standards applicable to engineering processes and practices.
• Familiarity with quality control and quality assurance procedures.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
• Ability to operate and program automated testing equipment or systems.
• Certification or training in relevant technical areas.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology or a related field. (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• years of experience as an Engineering Technician or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in using engineering tools and software, such as CAD software, measurement instruments, and data acquisition systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze and resolve technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
