We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Computer
Security Specialist to join our cybersecurity team. As a Computer Security Specialist at [Company

(IDS), and data encryption.
- Evaluate and recommend security technologies and solutions to enhance our cybersecurity posture.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines to safeguard our information
assets.
- Investigate security incidents and breaches, providing timely and effective incident response
and recovery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into
the development and maintenance of information systems.
Preferred Skills:
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified
Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
- Experience with cloud security and security in virtualized environments.

- Participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile/Scrum ceremonies to
coordinate work with the team.
- Previous experience in leading or managing cybersecurity projects or teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related
field. A relevant Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Computer Security Specialist or in a similar role, with a minimum of [X]
years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and industry standards (e.g., NIST
Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001).

- Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and network security best practices.

- Familiarity with security compliance requirements and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and
respond to security incidents effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
and stakeholders.
