We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Computer Security Specialist to join our cybersecurity team. • Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and data encryption.
• Evaluate and recommend security technologies and solutions to enhance our cybersecurity posture.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines to safeguard our information assets.
• Investigate security incidents and breaches, providing timely and effective incident response and recovery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into the development and maintenance of information systems.

Preferred Skills:

• Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
• Experience with cloud security and security in virtualized environments.
• Knowledge of security tools and practices specific to the organization's industry or sector.
• Participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile/Scrum ceremonies to coordinate work with the team.
• Previous experience in leading or managing cybersecurity projects or teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. A relevant Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Computer Security Specialist or in a similar role, with a minimum of [X] years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity.
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and industry standards (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
